The Center for Hope is a community oriented counseling center staffed with licensed professionals

Grief in the Workplace
This workshop provides employers with an understanding
of how grief affects individuals, and how
to support employees during times of loss. Also
identifies ways of coping with downsizing and
restructuring within an organization.
Avoiding Burn-Out
This seminar offers tips on how to establish
healthy boundaries and apply good self-care.
Examples and practical guides on how to prevent
burn-out are provided.
Diversity Training
This training identifies issues to consider when
working with diverse populations. Tools for dealing
with stereotypes and biases in various settings;
schools, workplace, and the community are presented.
NOTE: Workshops can be tailored to meet specific needs.

Shaileen Backman, LCSW
Shaileen has been practicing psychotherapy with adults, adolescents, and children for over twenty-five years. In addition to traditional psychother apy, she employs the use of guided imagery, dream work, and journaling as a means to increase self awareness, reduce stress, promote healing and self discovery. |

Robin Gibson, MA
Robin has experience in individual and group counseling, specializing in working with individuals and couples who are dealing with infertility and/or pregnancy loss. She works with all ages to include children, adolescents, and adults. Robin uses a variety of counseling techniques including art and play therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual. |

April Lubkemann, LCSW
April has been counseling individuals, couples, and groups for over eight years. Her primary focus is to assist adolescents and adults to see their lives in more healthy ways as they overcome their challenges. April provides professional seminars on a variety of issues tailored to the needs of her audience. |

Rachel Schwartz, LCSW
Over the past fourteen years, Rachel has counseled individuals, couples, and groups. Her special interests include relationship concerns, living with chronic illness, and adjustment to loss. Rachel enjoys collaborating with her clients in their journey toward living more fulfilling lives. |
