Invitation for Our Friends in the Media to Join Blue Ridge Hospice for its
Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Blue Ridge Hospice announces its Annual Volunteer Recognition/Appreciation Dinner, being held in Winchester, Virginia. We would like our friends in the media to join us for this special evening, and assist us in making the community aware of this special event.

This year's dinner, following National Volunteer Appreciation Week, will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. The dinner will be held at the Hampton Inn Conference Center, located on Berryville Avenue in Winchester, Virginia. The program will include presentation of the Founders Award, as well as the Volunteer of the Year award. Entertainment will be provided by Aurora Studio Players performing selected songs from their current production of Cinderella.

The annual volunteer appreciation dinner provides a way for Blue Ridge Hospice to recognize its volunteers, who donate their time and efforts to support patients, family members, and hospice staff. Together, volunteers have provided almost 15,000 hours of service to Blue Ridge Hospice in 2005 and are a vital part of the organization. Devoting much more than just their time, the volunteers of Blue Ridge Hospice dedicate their talents, wisdom, and hearts to hospice work.
